This week we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our safety and freedom.
On Sunday, I attended the remembrance services in Flint and Mold. It was heartening to see the community coming together in such large numbers to remember all those who have fought for our nation.
We take this time to remember, not only those who fought in World War I and II but those that have taken up arms in all wars. These brave individuals faced the horrors of war, not only to defend our nation, but to preserve the rights of individuals everywhere from tyranny and oppression.
I believe this week of national remembrance allows us to reflect and ensure that the sacrifice of those brave soldiers was not in vain.
