It was a pleasure to pop along to Springfield Hotel in Pentre Halkyn today to cheer on Steve Roberts in his world record attempt at cycling 24hours.

Steve is raising money for St. Kentigern Hospice – you can find his just giving page here – and is hoping as many people as possible can donate whatever they can for this excellent cause.

As many of you know, St Kentigern Hospice helps patients, their family and carers through a difficult period. Many of their patients will be discharged back to their own homes following admission for pain and symptom control, enabling an improved quality of life and community support. Some patients will be admitted to the In patient Unit several times for symptom control and support. Each patient is cared for with respect for personal belief, religion and culture.

I’m sure Steve would love to see people drop by to cheer him on so do pop along to Springfield Hotel.
