I have pledged my support for the campaign to get people to have their eye sight tested. This campaign is called ‘love to see’.
Uncorrected vision is the world’s most common disability and affects over one third of the global population. In the United Kingdom it is estimated that two and a half million people (approximately 4% of the population) are uncorrected and a further two million people suffer from sight loss. Many eye conditions can be treated and corrected in a timely manner through early diagnosis and medical intervention and regular eye screening is vital in managing this issue.
