Delyn MP David Hanson and Sandy Mewies AM visited Mold Community Hospital to mark the 60th anniversary of the NHS.
Sandy and David were at the hospital and joining with staff and patients to listen to a pianist playing songs from the last sixty years.
David Hanson said:
“The setting up of the NHS is one of the greatest achievements of the last century and something that we should all be proud of
“Universal healthcare free at the point of need was brought in, in 1948 as the country was rebuilding after the devastation of WWII.
“This week I want to pay tribute to all NHS staff who work hard to give us the care and attention we need when we need it most.”
Sandy Mewies said:
“This Government remains committed to the ideals of the NHS and will continue to rise to the new challenges it faces every year.
“As your AM I will always fight to improve the NHS in Delyn and work to ensure that it is fit for modern life. “
