Delyn MP David Hanson has visited Fifth Avenue in Flint after some of the residents had complained that they were suffering flooding.
Cllr Ted Evans, David Hanson MP, Mr Williams (local resident) and Cllr Trevor Howorth.
A number of residents in Fifth Avenue, Flint have been suffering flooding and continue to have issues with drainage.
David Hanson said:
“The issue of flooding in Fifth Avenue was brought to my attention by Cllr Trevor Howorth and Cllr Ted Evans, who have both been very active in addressing local residents concerns.
“The problem seems to stem from a large bank which was formed behind the properties leading to flooding in gardens, pools of water under the floorboards and mould and dampness spreading through some houses.
“I welcomed the chance to see the problems for myself. I have written to Flintshire County Council myself looking for swift action as this problem seems to have got worse this year.”
