Delyn MP David Hanson has visited DangerPoint in Talacre to learn more about the ways in which they are helping to keep safe online.
DangerPoint is a highly effective way of providing people with the skills to avoid everyday dangers and risks. In this unique controlled environment, people can actually see and hear the hazards they may encounter in real life, but without the risks.
Over 15,000 have already used the facilities at DangerPoint and it is proving very popular with children and schools.
David Hanson said:
“Having visited DangerPoint for its launch I very much enjoyed returning to see for myself some of the strong and innovative work that is being carried out.
“I was approached by staff at the centre as a result of holding an online survey on my website on the issue of keeping children safe both online and when using computer games.
“I discussed this and many other issues during my visit.”
