Delyn MP David Hanson, Flint Mayor Cllr Paul Cunningham, Flint Town Council Leader Ian Roberts and members of Flint male voice choir joined staff and Flint Royal British Legion members at Flint Sainsburys to support this year’s poppy appeal.
Flint Royal British Legion are aiming to beat last year’s raised total of over £9000 this year, and people in Flintshire can do their part because from monday 3rd November for one week there is a pop up shop supporting the poppy appeal opening on Church St in Flint, with all welcome to call by.

“The poppy appeal is vital to raise funds for the Royal British Legion and all of us were pleased to support this year again. The choir will be making a special appearance at this year’s Flint remembrance service and thanks go to Sainsburys who are supporting staff to sell poppies and making a donation as well.”
