I am supporting the 2019 Airbus Community Awards, which are now open for applications. He encourages people of the community to apply and be a part of the over 75-year history Airbus has with the Constituency.
Airbus Broughton, founded in 1939, are giving projects submitted from a charity or community, within a 20-mile radius of the site to submit an application. The projects must focus on areas of youth, education, environment and inclusion to be considered.
To win a share of £20,000 for the community you must apply by midnight of 22nd February 2019.

As ever, it is a pleasure to see Airbus care about local communities and appreciate the long history they have had our region. Due to this, I extremely encourage communities and charities within the constituency to apply for such a great opportunity.
Throughout the year I have met with various charities and community groups who have benefitted from funding’s similar to this one, and I can think of many more deserving groups in our constituency who could really benefit from this award.
I believe groups from Delyn’s Towns and Villages deserve the opportunities given by companies like Airbus Community Awards. Once again Airbus are showing how much they value our people and place, and it is a pleasure to see other business’s in this area show support in similar ways.
