Hanson Welcomes Post Office Re-Opening

Delyn MP David Hanson has welcomed the Post Office’s decision to re-open a Post Office service in Trelawnyd.

The village has been without a Post Office since 2010 when the postmaster resigned.

The previous Post Office on London Road will be replaced by a Hosted Outreach service at the Memorial Hall on Chapel Street. The service will be available for residents on Friday’s from 14:00-17:00.

The new service will open on 16 March.

David Hanson said:

“I am pleased that the Post Office is providing the village with a Post Office service. For too long, residents have had to travel to the nearest offices in Dyserth and Prestatyn.

“I do hope that local residents will support the new Post Office and in light of the limited opening hours, I would welcome any feedback as to how the service is meeting the needs of the village once it has bedded in.”
