Delyn MP David Hanson has helped to keep a Flintshire village in bloom after verges were damaged by delivery lorries.
Mr Hanson wrote to companies who had delivered goods to Pantymwyn, asking them to help repair the verges that had been cut away by delivery trucks.
He was successful in securing donations, which will pay for the planting of hundreds of extra plants.
Mr Hanson said the extra colour will make a big difference to the village this summer.
He added: “I am delighted to have been able to help Pantymwyn residents brighten up their village.
“With summer just around the corner we have managed to secure money for extra plants and flowers.
“I have also been pressing for extra gritting to be done in Pantymwyn, after many residents were left stranded in the January snow.
“I am looking forward to seeing Pantymwyn come into full bloom this summer.”
