Delyn MP David Hanson and AM Sandy Mewies have visited the Forestry Department, Sawmill and biomass fuel production at Mostyn Estates.
The purpose of the visit was to highlight the use of locally grown sustainable fuel in North East Wales. The long term vision at the site is to produce a managed biomass chip fuel supply for local schools, tying in with a forest education programme.
Mostyn Estates had a successful partnership with Connahs Quay High School over the past two years with a forest education programme held at Mostyn.
