he first in a series of monthly PUBLIC meetings ‘The Challenge’ on topics of local interest starts on Thursday 8 September at 7.30pm in Mold
The subject will be Education. On the panel will be a number of education practitioners including Ian Budd, Flintshire County Council’s Director of Lifelong Learning; Margaret Lonsdale, headteacher of Ysgol Bryn Gwalia, Mold; and a local secondary school headteacher.
There will be a short address from members of the panel followed by an opportunity for questions from the public. Delyn MP, David Hanson, will be attending subject to business in the House of Commons.
The meetings, which are being organised by the Branch, give the public a chance to find out more about important topics affecting us locally.

‘The Challenge to Local Government’ on Thursday 8 December with Colin Everett FCC’s Chief Executive.
