Hanson Visits Homeless Help Shop

Delyn MP David Hanson has visited Us UnLtd in Flint, a store that was set up earlier this year by a group of young people between 16 and 25 who have, at some time in their lives, been homeless.

The store sells hand-crafted gifts, including jewelry, bags and hats with the majority of goods produced by local people.

Mr Hanson learnt about the background of the group and how it was developed, their current enterprises and their plans for the future in Flint. The team have plans to open a drop-in centre and café for homeless young people.

David Hanson said:

“Us UnLtd in Flint is a great example of how people can use their experiences to help others. This was a great opportunity to learn more about how the group is working and what their ambitions are for the coming year.”
