Delyn MP David Hanson is urging local residents in Northop to give their views on the current proposals for a pedestrian crossing at a special exhibition to be held at the Village Hall on Friday 19th February 11am to 7pm.
David Hanson said:
“I have been campaigning hard alongside Northop residents for a road crossing to be installed in the village. I have been given further assurances that the money for the pedestrian crossing is still in place and I know that residents, understandably want action on this.
“There have been concerns over the design and location of the crossing and I welcome the fact that people will have an opportunity to local over the proposals in the Village Hall and make their comments.
“I would urge people to visit the exhibition and make their thoughts known. The people of Northop have had to wait far too long for this crossing – it is a dangerous stretch of road to cross currently and we need action now.”
