Delyn MP David Hanson supports local franchisee Stewart Williams’ reinvestment as well as presenting a new football kit to Flint and Baglit Juniors U8’s Football Team
Local franchisee Stewart Williams has re-opened his popular McDonald’s restaurant in Flint following the completion of an extensive interior and exterior refurbishment.
To celebrate this Stewart was joined by David Hanson MP and the Flint & Bagillt Juniors Under 8’s football team. The franchisee and MP will use this special occasion to present a brand new football kit to the team, which has been provided by Stewart.
Steve Williams, Manager of Flint & Baglit Juniors U8’s football team said
“The team really appreciates the support that McDonald’s gives us, and his generous kit sponsorship means the kids really look the part.”
The team linked up with McDonald’s after Ingrid Forster, mum of team member Iwan, approached the franchisee for sponsorship.
Commenting on the six-figure refit, Stewart who also owns four restaurants across North East Wales and employs over 200 staff – said:
“Having a fresh and vibrant new look to the restaurant is very exciting for the team and we have all been looking forward to the re-opening.”

The significant investment has given the restaurant a fresh new look, with minimalist yet vibrant decor, comfortable easy-chairs, group tables and stylish lighting.
The restaurant also now offers free WiFi access for customers, as well as Rainforest Alliance certified coffee made with organic British milk.
