Delyn MP David Hanson will continue to serve as Justice Minister at the Ministry of Justice.
The department is responsible for policy on the overall criminal, civil, family and administrative justice system, including sentencing policy, as well as the courts, tribunals, legal aid and constitutional reform. The Ministry of Justice brings together management of the criminal justice system from end to end.
David Hanson said:
“I am pleased to be given this opportunity to continue my work with colleagues at the Ministry of Justice and build on what we have already achieved since the Department was established last year.
“As always, my priority remains my constituency and I will continue to serve the people of Delyn as I have done for the last 16 years.
“Our country is facing unprecedented global economic challenges and the Prime Minister has been very clear that the Government we will do what ever it takes to secure the banking sector and protect people’s savings.”
