The Delyn MP said:

“I have been in contact with the Delyn SubPostmasters ahead of today’s Network Change Programme announcement.

“I welcome the Post Office’s decision to keep the majority of branches open in Delyn. The Post Office network plays an important role in our local communities and I am eager for it to continue with confidence on a more sustainable footing.

“I have written to all SubPostmasters in Delyn, gathering their opinions about the changes and whether those earmarked for closure wish to remain open. I will be making representations where SubPostmasters wish to retain the facility and where constituents contact me.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone that will be affecting by any proposed closures during the consultation. You can either contact me directly or write to the addresses below.”
