Delyn MP David Hanson will join the Brew for the Few fundraising coffee event at Flint Town Hall on Thursday (30th September) to raise money for the RAF’s Wings Appeal.
The RAF Association Wings Appeal raises around £2 million each year and has this year been promoting their cause by getting local representations to ‘brew up’ all over the country.
The Mayor of Flint, Councillor Lorna Jones, and other councillors will also be attending along with representatives from RAF Association. Members of the public are invited to go along and enjoy the tea party.
David Hanson said:
“I am delighted to join in with the Brew for the Few, for the second year in a row at Flint Town Hall. I have donated a bottle of House of Commons wine, signed by the Speaker of the House, which can be raffled or auctioned off for the charity.
“This year has extra significance because of the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The RAF Association does a tremendous job supporting veterans and their families.”
