Delyn MP David Hanson has been appointed by the Government as the new Policing Minister in the Home Office after serving two years as Minister for Prisons.
Mr Hanson’s responsibilities include policing, gun and knife crime, counter terrorism and prevention of anti social behaviour.
David Hanson said:
“I am delighted to have this new opportunity to serve as the new Policing Minister at the Home Office.
“After two years working as the Minister for Prisons this appointment presents a set of new challenges that I am looking forward to tackling.
“The people of Delyn continue to be my priority and I will work hard for a safer Flintshire.”
