Delyn MP David Hanson is calling for a speed limit on the main Mold to Denbigh road through Rhydymwyn.
David Hanson said:
“Last Friday I met with a number of my constituents in Rhydymwyn who are becoming increasingly concerned about the cars are speeding, some in excess of 60 miles per hour, through the village.
“Many of the villagers have to cross the busy road in hazardous conditions, in order to reach the bus stop on the other side.
“People are also worried about the lack of a footpath from the junction of Rhosesmor with the A541.
“I have raised these issues with Flintshire County Council as I know that road safety is a matter of some considerable concern, particularly in the light of a recent fatal road accident at this location.”
