Delyn MP David Hanson met with local Police Community Support Officers in Holywell as part of North Wales Police Force’s ‘Balance your Bobbies’ campaign. The campaign allows local people to vote for the local policing priority for their community.
Local people could vote whether they wanted their local police officers to prioritise speeding, tackling anti-social behaviour, tackling drugs or more visible policing in the main areas of town.
David Hanson said:
“The ‘Balance your Bobbies’ campaign is an extremely good initiative in which North Wales Police actively engages local people with the work that they do, whilst focusing resources around people’s concerns.
“The police are committed to tackling all forms of crime but I welcome the fact that in some areas they will prioritise their resources in accordance with people’s wishes.
“It was a pleasure to meet with Phil and Catherine, two hard-working PCSO’s who are committed to making Holywell an even safer place to live.”
