Flintshire MPs David Hanson and Mark Tami, along with Labour MEP Derek Vaughan and Labour MEP candidate Jayne Bryant have been to visit the airbus site in Flintshire to see firsthand the ongoing success at this major local employer.
On a trip organised by Airbus shop stewards, the group discussed the issues facing the company which continues to move from strength to strength. The group met with Unite Union shop stewards to hear of the issues locally.
David Hanson MP said:
“The ongoing success of airbus is important for people across Flintshire, both for those employed by the site and those connected to it, so I’m always pleased to go and see the work being done and hear about the challenges they might be facing.
It’s important to celebrate our local successes and offer as much support as we can to help them do well do Flintshire can thrive, and I’ll continue to do that however I can.”
