On Tuesday, I visited a Fairtrade Fair in parliament to speak to producers and suppliers of Fairtrade products on how we can support this fantastic cause.
One of the people I met was a coffee farmer. He explained to me the difference that Fairtrade has made to his life and his community. Ensuring that he gets paid a decent price for his products meaning that he can invest into his business and help it grow.
As you may know, Mold is a Fairtrade town and other towns in Delyn are thinking of becoming one as well.
I fully support Fairtrade and hope that next you are in the supermarket you consider buying a Fairtrade branded product to ensure that people get paid a fair share for their work.
