Kuwait Airways has placed an order of 25 aircrafts with Airbus, including ten A3590-900 and fifteen A320neo, parts of which will be made in Flintshire enhancing the region’s output and further protecting the site’s future.
David Hanson MP for Delyn said:
“Airbus’ continued success is a cornerstone of the Flintshire economy ; giving jobs and livelihood for people who work at the site and for local suppliers, so this is good news for North Wales.
I congratulate everyone at Airbus for securing this contract and hope it’s the first of many confirmed orders in 2014.”
