Delyn MP David Hanson has welcomed the news that unemployment and youth unemployment has fallen in Delyn with 0.1% fewer people claiming Job Seekers Allowance since July. Mr. Hanson praised the hard work of local businesses for their role in creating jobs and supporting the local economy.
On the back of the news of a fall in unemployment in Delyn David Hanson MP thanked local businesses for the hard work that they put into boosting the Flintshire economy and helping reduce both youth unemployment and unemployment by 0.1%.
Speaking David Hanson MP said:
“It is good news to see unemployment falling in Delyn. This is testament to hard work that local businesses have put in to build up the local economy and help boast job creation in the region. I am pleased to see the fall in both unemployment and youth unemployment. I hope that our local businesses continue to be successful and carry on creating jobs and boasting the economy.
However youth unemployment remains stubbornly high and I believe that the government needs to take further action to reduce youth unemployment to help more young people into work.“
