Today I went to the opening of Tenovus Cancer Care charity shop in Mold. Tenovus is a charity that offers support, advice and treatment to cancer patients and their loved ones. They also promote healthy lifestyles and fund cancer research to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
I got to meet Trish and Tony, the assistant manager, of the new shop. Their efforts to raise money for Tenovus should be applauded, but they told me that they are in need of more volunteers. So I hope that people will come forward to help this deserving charity.
