Carmel Village Hall awarded Big Lottery Funding

Today, I received the excellent news that Carmel Village Hall received a grant from the Big Lottery Fund worth £46,425 to help them keep the hall running and fund refurbishments.

It is brilliant to see our local communities receiving funding, especially hubs like Carmel Village Hall. I wrote a supporting letter to the Lottery arguing how important the hall is for our community.

This goes to show that the Big Lottery Fund does reach Flintshire, and as you will have seen in one of my previous posts applications are open for new submissions for funding. So if you think your community run facility deserves the funding you should apply.
